Professor Eva Miranda gives the conference for the “City of Science and Innovation” awards ceremony

Jun 20, 2025

The event will be attended by Sandra Guaita (Mayor of Reus), Olga Morales (President of Red Innpulso), Teresa Riesgo (Secretary General of Innovation) and Diana Morant (Minister of Science, Innovation and Universities).

On May 5, 2025, Professor Eva Miranda gave the inspiring conference as part of the “City of Science and Innovation” awards ceremony, organized by the Red Innpulso at the Reus Events fair.

With the presentation entitled “Science, Creativity and Cities that Imagine”, Professor Miranda articulates her intervention based on three “scientific adventures”:

From secret codes to artificial minds: Alan Turing and the science that imagined the future.

Between butterflies, hurricanes and asteroids: Lorenz, Fetter and Hamilton on the border of chaos.

Margarita Salas: from an invisible enzyme to a scientific revolution.

Through this journey, the role of science and innovation is asserted when they are crossed by imagination and creativity, highlighting their real impact on society.
