Patrick Morris, nou Ramón y Cajal del departament

Patrick Morris has been awarded a Ramón y Cajal fellowship and will start the position at UPC in April. His research focuses on extremal and probabilistic combinatorics, and he has made several important contributions, particularly in the area of (pseudo-)random graphs. Patrick received his PhD in 2021 from Freie Universität Berlin and has since held postdoctoral positions at UPC, including being awarded a competitive Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant from the European Union.
