Eva Miranda, new Distinguished Visiting Professor at ICMAT

Fourteen researchers and researchers of great international prestige join the Institute of Mathematical Sciences (ICMAT) as part of the fourth edition of its Severo Ochoa Distinguished Visiting Professors and Laboratories program.

The aim of this appointment of Eva Miranda is to study the level of complexity of the n-body problem of celestial mechanics. The specific goal is to know if it has a certain computational property: is it Turing complete, that is, can it simulate any computing algorithm?
